What's the Difference between PC Hibernate & PC Sleep Mode?

PC Hibernate & Sleep Mode
There are lots of people who are always confused on what is PC Hibernate and PC Sleep Mode and its features. Today you'll understand what PC Hibernate & PC Sleep Mode can do for you.

Computer HibernateWhat is PC Hibernation?

Computer hibernation is the process in which your computer stores all contents of your RAM to your hard disk, which will save the content of your desktop & keep some programs that are running up until you boot up your computer. This can be done by saving it to a file or saving it to another hard drive partition. Hibernating is a great way to quickly boot up your computer to the previous state in which you left it.

How to Hibernate your PC

In order to hibernate your PC, first you've to enable hibernation. Right-click on your desktop and click on properties to get to display properties. Click on Screen Saver and then on Power near the bottom of the box. Next, go to the Hibernate tab and then click ‘Enable Hibernation’. Then click the ‘Start’ button, ‘Turn off computer’, then hold down the "shift" key on your keyboard and the Stand By button should switch to Hibernate. Click on that and then your computer will go into hibernation mode. To start it up again, you'll just need to push the power button on your computer. It's that simple

Computer Stand ByThen, What is PC Sleep Mode?

The computer Sleep Mode was once known as Stand By or Suspend mode, in which it saves energy but doesn’t quite turn the PC off. In Sleep mode, Windows saves what you’re doing and then puts the computer to sleep — a special low-power mode. The computer isn’t exactly off, and it restores itself quickly, which makes Sleep mode more effective as a way to shut down the computer.

How to Use Your PC’s Sleep Mode

Click the ‘Start’ button, ‘Turn off computer’, then click Stand By button to get your PC to Sleep Mode.

So What’s Actually the Difference between PC Hibernate & Sleep Mode?

The Main difference is that Hibernate is a Better way of Powering Down you PC or laptop. Since your data is saved to your hard disk and not RAM. This makes it a safer, but slower option for shut down and resume. By hibernating your computer, you also save up on your battery life because you don't have to close all the programs nor restart the computer.

The Huge drawback to Stand By is you run the possibility of losing whatever data you were working on if the power goes out. So, as a precaution, you might want to save the data before putting your computer in this mode... if not use Hibernate.

The winner between the two is — to set your computer to Hibernate Mode!!!

8 Online Tools To Download And Convert Youtube Videos

YoutubeThere are dozens of tools to convert and download videos from YouTube, but it's quite hard to pick the best one. This is because each of them has its pluses and minuses. I did a research and found some websites that did the job and made a list of them.

Here goes the list:

1. CatchYouTube.com enables you to convert YouTube videos into any number of different video and audio formats and then to download these to your computer. You just have to copy & paste the Youtube web address (URL) and start converting. The videos can be converted to MPG, MOV (Mac), DVD, MP4 (iPod, PSP, iPhone), 3GP, MP3, WAV or FLV format.

2. Zamzar is a free universal online converter, which means you can convert any files without using any software. It is not only good at doing the Youtube conversion but it also supports the conversion of 72 images, videos, musics and documents formats. Learn more about this website by watching this tutorial video by Zamzar. I strongly recommend that you bookmark this website as I believe it will benefit you in the future. This is also my favorite.

3. Anjo.to lets you download Youtube videos in normal flv format or convert them to the 3GP, MP3, AVI, MOV, or MP4 (iPod, PSP, iPhone) formats. Anjo is also different from the rest because it has multi load feature, where you can submit up to 10 videos in a single time. The videos links will later be sent to your email. You can do everything in one go.

4. Vixy typically has the same features as Anjo, except it only allows one conversion at a time. The videos can be converted to 3GP, MP3, AVI, MOV, or MP4 formats.

5. KCoolOnline currently works for over 231 streaming video sites, and more are being added every week. It's recommended to people who are seeking for simplicity.

6. Media Converter produces good video conversion. The tool is not limited to video conversion; it also supports hundreds of audio and document formats and is in the same league as Zamzar.

7. KeepVid is quite easy to use. In addition to that, it also supports other website such as Google video, IFilm, Break and many more. The file downloaded is in the flv format.

8. Vid2pc is also quite easy to use. It supports FLV, MP4 (iPod, PSP, iPhone) or 3GP format.

P.S. I believe there are plenty more websites out there that I've missed out, so if you have any in mind or is one of your favorite, please share it. I hope this list benefits you. =)

It's a very bad thing to happen but what can I do? It's not my fault. The model I bought has this manufacturing problem so right now I'm waiting for their letter in order to send it for repairs. And... it's free!! I'll write about this in more details in another post.

Right now I'm stuck without being able to do my work or anything. Haih.

Hang in there guys. As soon as I get my laptop back, I'll update this blog more frequently as long as my time allows to.

Take care and have a great day!!

How do you repair your scratched discs?

How many of you have scratched up discs laying there which you can't use anymore? You don't need to buy expensive liquid or foam to repair the scratched discs. All you need is just toothpaste. Yeah, you heard me right, I said toothpaste. With the toothpaste, you can fix the scratches on the discs and get the shine back.

Here is how you can do it yourself to repair your scratches discs.

1. Apply some toothpaste on the surface.
2. Apply the toothpaste all over the scratches.
3. Wait for 5 minutes.
4. Rinse with water.
5. Dry it with a clean cloth.
6. You're done!

Watch the video for the demo. (By the way, it's not me in the video)

3 Effective Ways To Speed Up Your Computer

Slow ComputerIf you don’t take care of your computer, no matter how good the configuration of your Windows computer may be, it is bound to slow down soon. Just like all other appliances you own, it is essential for you to perform regular preventive maintenance of your computer.

Later on in the post I'll also recommend a few softwares for you to download.

The following are 3 simple and effective methods to fix your slow computer problems and ensure yourself an efficient and high performance computer.

Check and Remove Malware Infections

Most sudden and dramatic slow downs are caused by malicious program such as Trojans, adware, virus, or spyware infecting your computer system. Usually these programs creep quietly on to your system via infected external media, such as CDs, pen drives, and external hard disks. Many malicious programs, especially spyware and adware come bundled with freeware software, such as games, music, and computer utilities. These malicious programs spread quickly once they are on the system.

They not only cause slow computer problems, but may also generate several computer errors. To stop and remove these malicious infections, you need to regularly scan your system and clean it with the help of reliable antivirus and anti spyware tools. To ensure that your system is protected against the latest malware, you must keep these programs updated with the latest definitions released by their manufacturers.

The problem is that they not only cause your computer to slow down, but they may also generate several computer errors. In order to stop and remove these malicious infections, you need to scan your system and clean it with the help of reliable antivirus and anti spyware tools regularly. Make sure you keep these programs updated with the latest definitions released by their manufacturers to ensure that your system is being protected against the latest malwares.

Clean your Hard Disk

The most vital components of your Windows computer is the hard disk. This is due to the simple reason that it comprises all of your data. Over time, the hard disk gets cluttered with unwanted files and folders. If you frequently install and uninstall programs from your PC, then your hard disk may also get filled up with orphan information left behind when you remove these programs. Some of the methods that you can use to maintain a healthy hard disk are:
  • Keep your system free from unwanted programs. You may use the Add or Remove Programs utility to remove these programs from the system.
  • Use a registry cleaner tool to remove any orphan entries left behind in the registry after you have uninstalled a program.
  • Use the Disk Cleanup tool to clean up unwanted data, such as Temporary Internet Files, old program setup files, and obsolete system restore points from the hard disk.
  • Use the Disk Defragmenter to consolidate the fragmented files on the system and thus speed up data access time from the hard disk.
Clean Your Registry

A lot of information are added and removed from the registry as you work on your computer. Many times, information that is no longer required gets left behind and causes registry bloating. It is essential that you regularly scan and clean your registry with the help of a reliable registry cleaner tool in order to prevent your Windows XP and Windows Vista registry problems and also to speed up your computer system.

Recommended Softwares to Download

1) Revo Uninstaller - You can read more about the features at RevoUninstaller.com.

2) CCleaner - You can read about a post I did about CCleaner at Clean The Crap Out Of Your Computer System.

3) Sandboxie - Read my review about Sandboxie at Sandboxie...The Sandbox On Your Computer.

P.S: Remember, you must take good care of your computer and perform regular preventive maintenance to keep it free from errors. At the end of the day, you will have a healthy and fast computer.

Alternative for Microsoft Reader - Free Download

If you're looking for an Alternative for Microsoft Reader or Microsoft Reader Alternative, you've come the the right place.

OK OK... now I'll tell you what's the Alternative for Microsoft Reader.

The Alternative for Microsoft Reader is.................................

-

-

-

-

it's ICE Book Reader Professional.

To read more about this software, please go over HERE.

If you have problems opening/reading a .lit or a .rar file, read this post - My Reply To Carmen - Reading a .lit file.

P.S: Hope this post helped to solve your problem in finding for an Alternative for Microsoft Reader and with Zip files and .lit files. =)

P.P.S: If what I shared with you was helpful and helped solve your problem, I would really appreciate for a small donation. Thanks =)

How To Open A .Lit File

*Updates: Alternative for Microsoft Reader (Read Here)

Referring to your question:
Carmen's QuestionQuestion 1:

Before this, I have not come across any .lit files or extensions before, but after I "Googled" around, I came to know what is it all about. By the way, thanks for bringing this up. =)

So basically, the file that you received is obviously a .lit file. You will need to download Microsoft Reader. Download the file to My Documents or somewhere else, then open the reader and select your book.

Download Microsoft Reader

IMPORTANT DOWNLOAD INSTRUCTIONS

1) Click the download link.

2) In the File Download box, select Save this program to disk.

3) Save the file named "msreadersetup.exe" to your hard drive.

4) When the download is completed, locate msreadersetup.exe on your hard drive and double-click the file to begin installation.

Note:
If you are running Internet Explorer 5.0 or later, a dialog box will appear when the download is completed, and you will be prompted to begin installation.

5) You'll be prompted to activate your copy of Microsoft Reader. This important step is required to purchase premium eBook titles that have been encrypted for distribution through the activation process.

Note:
If you currently have an activated version of Microsoft Reader 1.5 or 1.51 on your laptop or desktop computer, make sure that you use the same Passport or Hotmail account to re-activate the new version after downloading it. (You must use the same account information to open and read the Owner Exclusive content that you have already purchased.)

6) When installation is complete, you may be prompted to restart your PC. After the restart, the installation will continue. We strongly recommend activating your device at time of installation so you can purchase and open the Owner Exclusive premium content you may already have.

Go over here to learn more on E-Book formats and readers to use.

Question 2:

I think you mean a .rar format is referring to a file being compressed or zipped. The file holds 1 or more files in it. I'm not sure is this what you're asking for. =)

The most common softwares to use are WinZip 7-Zip or WinRAR. Just choose one.

Download WinRAR (1.15 MB)

For me, I only have experience using WinRAR.

Here is some tutorial how to unzip the file:

WinRAR TutorialIf you still have problem using either of the unzipping software, just go and Google it up.

The software to read a .PDF is Foxit PDF Reader or Adobe Acrobat Reader. You can read my previous recommendation on PDF Readers.

P.S: To Carmen - if I didn't answered your question just let me know in the Comments box. So if it was what you're asking for and it solve your problem, just write me a testimonial Comment. =)

P.P.S: If I missed something in this post, feel free to add them in the Comment box. Thanks a lot.

Sandboxie...The Sandbox On Your Computer

*This will be quite a long post, but it's worth reading if you want to have a better security system for your computer. Enjoy reading !!

SandboxieHave you ever installed a program, then suddenly wished you hadn’t? Some programs screw up your settings and you have to reset them again. Will you be happy with it? - No I wouldn't be!

Are you tired of dealing with rogue software, spyware and malware? or tired of spending countless hours removing unsolicited software? Fear not because Sandboxie is here for the rescue!

Description: Sandboxie is a program that can create a 'Sandboxed' environment on your PC within - which you can install and/or run programs or browse the net. Any data writing operations that the Sandboxed applications perform can then be rolled back and/or eliminated.

The net effect of this is to create a kind of undo mechanism that can be used to test out programs without damaging the system or surf the web without risk of infecting the system with any kind of malware.

The Sandbox defined: a Sandbox is a virtual environment that captures all disk-writing operations. For example, if you run your browser through Sandboxie and surf the net, all of the cookies, cached files, and downloaded files (including any malware that may sneak in), or even any entries written to the registry will actually be made within the Sandbox. Note that these files will also appear in your file system as well (for example, if you download a zip file to the desktop during a Sandboxed browser session it will appear on the desktop where you normally would expect it). However, in fact this zip file is only there virtually, and once you shut Sandboxie down (or empty the contents of the Sandbox) the file will no longer show on the desktop.

How To Use Sandboxie?
1) After installing Sandboxie, go to your start menu, then find for the Sandboxie program. Later on click on 'Sandboxie Control'. The program will then run on your system tray. The logo is like this:
2) Go to he system tray and right-click on it.

This will show up. Then go to 'DefaultBox'.

Then.... this menu bar will show up.
- Click 'Run Web Browser' and it'll launch your default web browser.

- Click 'Run Email Reader' and it will launch either Outlook Express or Thunderbird or any other email programs that you use.

- Click 'Run Any Program' and you can choose what program you want to run on Sandboxie.

- Click 'Run From Start Menu' and you can run any program from inside your Start Menu.

- Click 'Run Windows Explorer' and your windows explorer will run. (Btw, not Internet Explorer ok) It's your My Documents or My Computer... you got it? Great

So after using Sandboxie, you have to click on 'Terminate Programs'... but you have to always remember to Recover the things that you want before Deleting the contents!! (Take Note).

If you still don't know how to use Sandboxie, just GOOGLE it up or you can just ask me.

You can download the trial version for 30Days. After the trial period, a pop-up box will always remind you that your trial period for 30Days are over. So just wait for 5seconds and you are good to go again. =)

*It's only 0.96MB, so don't worry about it taking up a big junk of your memory space.

Download Sandboxie Now

Have you downloaded Sandboxie yet? If yes, you can now go and uninstall all your anti-virus, anti-spyware and or of those software!! LoL

Hey, I'm just joking ok. You'll will still need those softwares for security purposes.

P.S: Hope this software recommendation from me will help you experience a better and tighter security for your computer and save you some money on repairs?

P.P.S: If this software helped you out a lot, in return, I'll appreciate if could write me a Comment or Testimonial. =)

Foxit PDF Reader Alternative To Adobe Acrobat Reader

Foxit PDF ReaderAt some point, we've sure stumbled across a .PDF (Portable Document File) on the Internet or from anywhere else for our work or assignments and most of us will use Adobe Acrobat Reader to read this files.

As for me, you too are tired of Adobe Acrobat Reader taking up almost 23 MB of disc space, always asking for updates and not providing the swift performance?

I would like to introduce to you - Foxit PDF Reader, a product from foxitsoftware.com.

What I like about Foxit PDF Reader is that the download size is only 2.55 MB which is a fraction of Adobe Acrobat Reader 23 MB size. It's breezing-fast when comes to launching the software without any delay. You are not forced to an annoying splash window displaying the company logo, author names, etc.

Benefits:
  • Supports all the standard documents.
  • Create snapshots from a selected portion of the page.
  • Fill interactive form.
  • Import/Export forms.
  • Save the PDF forms you fill out.
  • Easily adding bookmarks (providing the PDF's security settings allow it).
  • Draw graphics.
  • Highlight Texts.
  • Build-in Tabs to view multiple PDFs.
  • Type text and make notes on a PDF document and then print out or save the annotated document.
  • Text converter: You may convert the whole PDF document into a simple text file.
  • High security and privacy: Foxit Reader highly respects the security and privacy of users and will never connect to the Internet without users' permission while other PDF readers often silently connect.
The new Version 2.3 build 2825 now even supports many media formats including audio and video.

What are you waiting for?? Download Foxit PDF Reader

P.S:
Hope you make a smart choice and switch to Foxit PDF Reader rather then the bulky Adobe Acrobat Reader. =)

P.P.S: If this recommendation was usefull to you, I would appreciate it if you could leave me a Comment.

Reviews On Web Browsers I Personally Use

Here are the web browsers I personally use or used before...

1. Flock Browser
Flock integrates social networking and media services including Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Flickr, Blogger, and a lot more. When you log into any of the supported social services, Flock will automatically activate these services within its features.

Flock contains functionality that advises when friends have updated their profile, uploaded photos or other published items relevant to the user. Flock allows media sharing via drag and drop, photo uploading, and a built-in blog editor for posting from anywhere on the web.

I have not used all the functions that are available in Flock but I enjoy using it a lot.

The Flock browser is available as a free download, and supports Windows, Mac and Linux platforms.

You can go HERE to download Flock Browser or to get more info.

To get some guide using Flock Browser, click HERE.

2. Mozilla Firefox 2
I've been using Firefox for almost 3 years now and I don't really have any complains, except the memory leakage when you leave in on for some time. I will have to restart the browser again to settle the problem.

I can also customize firefox to my own liking and how I want it to look like.

Firefox is my main web browser and I use a lot of the addons that are available.

Download Firefox 2.

3. Mozilla Firefox 3 beta 5 (Portable Version)
I have nothing much to say much about this as it is still in beta and I haven't faced any problems using it. It's faster then Firefox 2 and there are quite a lot of new features.

I'm using the portable version is because most of the addons that I normally use are not compatible yet. So I use the portable version, which doesn't require installation.

Download Mozilla Firefox 3 beta 5 (Portable Version).

4. Opera 9.2
I only use this browser for fast browsing. I like the way the graphics are being displayed on Opera compared to any other browsers. This is due to their rendering engine - Presto.

Opera has a lot of built-in features. See it HERE.

Download Opera 9.2.

5. Internet Explorer 7
If you're using IE 6, please upgrade it now to IE 7 !!! IE 6 is really OUTDATED.

For Internet Explorer, I don't have much to say as I'm not a fan of it. So no review here. Hahaha... It's very slow.

Download Internet Explorer 7.

6. Safari 3.1
Safari is a Mac-based web browser. I only used Safari for around 2 weeks then I uninstalled it. This is because it lacks of flexibility to customize it as I like. Even Mac users prefer using Firefox to Safari. LOL

Although it looks good and fast, but it comes in a very large file - 18.62MB !!!

Download Safari 3.1.

So for your info, I currently have 5 web browsers on my laptop but I'm only using 4 of them. Guess which one I'm not using. =)

P.S: I hope the reviews of web browsers are usefull to you.

P.P.S: Don't forget to write down your answer on which web browser I'm not using in the Comment box. =)

Signs That You May Need More Computer Memory

Here Are Some Signs That You May Need More Computer Memory.

Knowing how to tell when your computer needs more memory is one of the important things you should know about your computer and one of those is the most important. I can not stress to you the importance of this.

If your computer does not have enough memory it will literally just begin slowly shutting down. You will notice one thing after another going wrong. It will run slower than before and it will begin freezing up/hanging on you often.

If you are one of the many people who love playing computer games, then this is one sure way to know whether you need more computer memory or not.

The games for your computer will either not load at all or if you do get them to load then they will probably be rather sluggish and even start freezing up in the middle of your game.

It is enough to drive anyone insane, dealing with these types of problems. Nothing is more annoying then getting involved in playing a fun game and all of a sudden your computer decides to act like it is having a meltdown.

On the internet, there are several websites where you can go and do some research on what different things you should check for on your computer. This to make sure it is running properly and to see what signs you may look for, so that you will know to either buy more computer memory yourself or just pay someone to install it for you.

Some people choose to just install it on their own because they find that it is not very difficult at all to do so. It is cheaper than paying someone else to do it. However, if you just would rather pay someone else to do it, in fear of messing something up, then go to a computer store and ask them about installing memory onto your computer system for you and how much do you have to pay to have this done.

If you learn how to pay closer attention to your computer, it will pretty much let you know what needs to be done, most of the time.

If it's facing the problems i mentioned before, then you should know that your computer probably needs more memory.
Your computer system needs to be upgraded and updated periodically to keep it running at its very best capabilities.

Many of the upgrades you can do on your own, with the proper software and most of them are pretty simple to take care of yourself.

What's best about most computer systems is that they have an automatic update that can be ran on them at certain times, and will update itself properly, without you really having to do anything.

Take good care of your computer so that it can last you for a long time because these things are not very cheap.

If your computer needs more memory, do not wait, go ahead and take care of this now before something else goes wrong with it.

P.S: That's all I have to say for this post. I hope I've helped you guys in some way or another. If this post have helped you, just write me a comment to let me know. =)

Why Computer Memory Is So Important

Hey guys, after writing so much about computer memory, I did not say why is it so important yet. So enjoy reading.

Those who owns and uses a computer should know that the importance of computer memory is key for keeping your computer up to par with the rest of the worlds computers.

Each computer has the ability to only operate under certain types of computer memory software. They are all different in their capabilities. It's very important for you to know and understand which types work best for your computer system. It is very important to know what it is you are looking for exactly before going out to buy your computer memory.

Go into any computer store and tell the worker what type of computer are you inquiring about. They will know just what type of RAM (Random Access Memory) or computer memory you need for improving your computer systems performance.

Most of the files running throughout your computer system is because of the computer memory, that's why it's so important. All of that information is being stored on your computers memory or RAM.

This decreases the amount of stress on you because your computer system has the ability to save such file that will need to be pulled back up at other times throughout your internet experiences.

It is very important for you to upgrade your computers memory from time to time because your computer memory will save any information that you provide. Whenever you need access to this information again, it will be available to you because your computer system will remember exactly where it is located.

When all of the space is almost taken up, then you could possibly be losing some very important information or files. By getting more computer memory, you are allowing your computer to have the ability of keeping up with all of the information being put in and taken out of your computer, at all times.

Make sure you know exactly what kind of computer memory you need because you wouldn't want to end up wasting your money on getting the wrong computer memory after going back home and to find out that it can not even be used on your computer, what a waste.

Your computer will store every application that is ran on your computer in a specified locations for your own personal access at any time. The more computer memory that you have on your computer system, the more efficiently your computer system will run and you will also notice that your computers speed has improved tremendously. =)

Having a faster computer is always a great thing isn't it. You need the speed it can give so that you wont lose your informations.

The more computer memory that you have the more likely you are to have a successful and enjoyable computer experience, whether you are a beginner or an experienced internet user.

P.S: Does anyone have a better way to speed up their computer system without spending any money on computer memory? I'll be glad to hear from you. So if you have any other ways just leave your answer in my comments box.

Different Types Of Computer Memory

Did you know that there are several different types of computer memory?

Without computer memory, computers would be just a piece of junk. Computer memory allows the computer to save and store information for you and it will be available for you to retrieve as often as you need. Without computer memory a computer would actually be just useless really.

There are several different types of computer memory on your computer that have the ability to store different types of information for you. Each of these types of computer memory has their own certain capabilities that are used when storing different kinds of information onto your computer system.

It is important to learn more about your computer system and all of its functions so that you can get more use out of it and know more what to do when something goes wrong.

The most common computer memory on your computer system that most people have heard of is called RAM (Random Access Memory). You can access any information that is placed onto your computer system by any order with this type of computer memory when necessary.

You can access its informations directly from its specific location, as long as you know exactly where it is located, such as, which column and row it may be in. Anyone who has ever turned on a computer system has more than likely heard of this type of computer memory. If you have ever taken any computer class, whether in school or college, you have heard of RAM, if not you must be from the stone age!

SAM (Serial Access Memory) is another type of computer memory. Information that you put onto your computer with this type of computer memory would be stored in a series of cells that can only be accessible in that exact specific order.

There is no other way to obtain this kind of information, it is not as easily accessible as with the random access memory on your computer. This computer memory operates in a way in which you have to find your way through the other cells in the computer, before the information that you are looking for can be accessible to you. Most people are not as familiar with this type of computer memory, it is not as recognizable as random access memory (RAM).

There are a couple other I want to tell you about, one of them is ROM and the other is cache memory. ROM (Read Only Memory) is programmed in such a way that none of your information that has been put into your computer can not be changed in any way whatsoever, it is read only memory.

Cache memory is where certain processes, specific calculations and current applications are saved in the systems memory instead of being placed in the usual storage areas as the other ones are.

Knowing more about all the different types of computer memory may help you in determining whether or not your computer is ready for more computer memory or not.

Take care of your computer and it will function at its best, all the time.

Stay tune for more of the computer memory post.

P.S: If you guys have your own opinions about this post, feel free to write some Comments here. =)

Computer Memory

Hey guys, for this coming few days I'll be posting about computer memory. So enjoy reading.

How often do you guys have this thought of getting a new computer because it was running too slow? You should add more computer memory before thinking of getting a new one.

If you have a computer then you should know a little bit about it - like how to install more computer memory when necessary. If you don't know if your computer is lacking of memory, there are a few different websites that you can go to in order to find out whether or not your computer system needs more computer memory or not. Once you have checked, then you will then need to decide whether to install it yourself or have someone else install it for you.

Don't make the mistake that some people make and decide to go for a new computer because your old one has started to perform at a very slow, dragging pace. Just because your computer is operating slowly does not mean that there is any reason at all to replace the entire system. Normally all this means is that your computer system needs more computer memory, that's all. Period

To just get a new computer systems is too expensive and it's so unnecessary, so make sure to check and see if your computer system just needs more computer memory before you decide to do that.

You can click on your taskbar, choosing the task manager, then go to the performance tab, looking under cpu usage and physical memory available. Another way is by going to My Computer, then right click on the local disk and click on properties. By going through this process, you should be able to see if your computer is lacking memory.

The other reasons causing your computer to run slowly is because of spyware. This occurs when you are surfing the internet and spyware is lurking all over the internet. It is very important that you purchase a good and trusted anti spyware removal software to help in preventing spyware from infecting your computer system and causing it to process information so very slowly.

You can get some of this softwares for no cost at all (FREE Yay). Just get on the internet and do some researching, but make sure you know what you are looking for, so that you do not end up with the wrong type of software.

For me I personally use a few on my computer, such as Spyware Terminator and AVG Anti Spyware. Another good one is Spyware Doctor but for the free version, it's not worth it to waste so much space for it. Just go with Spyware Terminator is good enough. (Click HERE to get the downloads) I'll write more about Spyware some other time, so come back to my blog regularly to check for updates yea.

Remember no matter what, create a back up for all of your programs and files on your computer system just in case your computer system ever does crash. You do not want to have your important files such as images or assignments go missing away. It is so very important to remember that, for your convenience later on.

Knowing whether or not your computer needs more computer memory will save you so much money in the long run. Never jump straight into conclusions when trying to determine what is going on with your computer, it could be something little and if you are careless, you may end up trashing a perfectly good computer system for no reason at all. Why not give it to me. I'll be glad to receive it. =)

So guys, have you learned some useful stuff from this post? I might have just save you thousands of dollars. Stay tune for more post on Computer Memory.
