In 2011, BMW’s M division launched not one, but two new models: the 1 M Coupe and the M5. At the 2012 Geneva Motor Show in March, the Bavarian automaker will introduce a new product range, named M Performance Automobiles that will sit between the regular and the M models – possibly something in the likes of Audi's S lineup.
According to BMW, the M Performance range will be a showcase for the M division genes, offering exclusive engine variants, more precise handling, improved agility and a “more emotional” design but without comprising everyday driving characteristics.
