Bugatti Veyron - Video Documentary Of One Of The World's Most Expensive Cars

I've previously blogged about Bugatti Veyron a few times here on my blog but today, this will be the most interesting post you're going to read/watch about the amazing Bugatti Veyron.

Here I've found a National Geographic 4-part video documentary about the actual manufacturing process of Bugatti Veyron. The $1.7Million supercar is man-made, as you will see from the videos. Buggati Veyron is actually capable to produce an outstanding 1001 horsepower from the 8.-liter W16 quad-turbocharged engine. The max torque is 1250 Nm at 2200-5500 rpm.

In this particular 4-part video, the Bugatti Veyron is featured in an episode of Man-Made, going into excruciating indepth detail on precisely how the car was assembled, engineered and built as well as the obstacles its creators needed to overcome in order to achieve the Veyron’s 407km/h top speed mark.

How To Detect a Lie By Examining Body Gestures

Do you have a clue whenever someone is lying straight in your face? Are you getting the whole truth and nothing but the truth?

I just came across an interesting video from Howcast. It gives you some suggestion and potential tips to gauge whether a person is lying or not.

The tips shared in this video are just guidelines and possible indicators that someone is lying. You should also use your own intelligence to determine the case. You'll need to have - A good ear, Good eyes and A healthy skepticism.

Here a short summary of the steps from the video:

Step 1: Watch their hands
Watch the suspected liar’s hands. Body language studies show that people tend to touch their face and scratch their nose when they lie.

Step 2: Follow their eyes
Follow their eyes. Liars tend to blink a lot and don’t maintain eye contact.

Step 3: Note their words
Note their words. A liar will skip contractions—saying “I did not” instead of “I didn’t”—and avoid pronouns, using someone’s full name instead of “he” or “she.”

Step 4: Check their smile
Check their smile. People who are telling the truth use many facial muscles, but liars smile with just their mouth.

Step 5: Note their posture
Notice their posture. Liars tend to keep their body posture closed (by folding their arms, for example). They may also unconsciously put an object between you, like a cup of coffee.

Step 6: Pause before responding
Pause momentarily before responding; if the silence makes them uncomfortable, they may be lying.

Step 7: Note the details
Pay attention to details. If they provide more information than necessary, that’s a bad sign. People tend to be overly specific when they’re making something up.

Step 8: Change the subject
Change the subject. If they seem relieved, that’s probably a red flag that they’ve been lying straight to your face!

Step 9: Teach your liar a lesson
What you do from here is up to you. It may be smart to file your knowledge away for future use. However, if you’re noticing a trend, it might just be time to teach your liar a lesson.

This is crazy! While I was watching the news, they showed a video of Susan Boyle singing on Britains Got Talent. Next I see my dad watching this on Youtube. What a BUZZ this is. This person's name - Susan Boyle from Blackburn, Scotland, keeps popping up on news, blogs and on Youtube.

Can you believe that one of the video has over 12 Million views from only a few days. If you add up all the videos relating to her, I believe there will be around 20 Millions views! This event just happened recently on April 11 2009 and overnight, Susan Boyle is famous all around the world.

Now she even has a fan site at www.susan-boyle.com, which you can check out all the buzz going around there.

After watching this video, what do you think? What I can say is "Never judge a book by its cover". That's what many of us do. Just look at the face and reactions of the judges - Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan. They were totally stunned. Even the crowd was wowed by Susan Boyle's singing.

Ben The Drummer's First Drum Cover

Hey guy, how are you doing? This post just came out from the blue and it's not on My List Of Things To Update. I'm very excited to inform you that I just had my first drum cover up on YouTube!

I was not aware that my friend - Alan would upload this recording of me playing during the praise & worship for the youth service in my church. After seeing him recording me, I was thinking "Great, now I get to see myself playing on the drums!" What I only knew was that he was just testing out some stuff. At around 1am that night (14/2/09), BAMM! I see my video clip up on YouTube and it was on his blog. I was shocked at first, but it was nice seeing myself playing. =)

Actually this is not the first time I see myself playing on the drums, but this is the first time it's recorded with a video cam, not a crappy video cam from the handphone.

A few months back at September before we had our last I.G.NITE! for the year 2008, I planned to record the whole praise & worship session, but too bad, until the last minute we could not find a video cam to record it. By the way it was also the bands' guitarists' last time playing with the band because he leaving for US to further his studies. I was really disappointed and it was a waste because the music for that night was awesome!! I had never played at that level before and the band was really on form and on fire for God. I was really sad as well because that was the last time playing with Ivan.

Okay, back to the video. The title of the song is - 'Til I See You from Hillsong United.

I have to say in the beginning, I was a bit blur because I forgot that I was suppose to start. My bad. Oh yea the tempo sped up a bit before going into the 2nd verse. And way back almost at the end of the song I made a mistake. I don't know why for one part Alan record my K-Swiss shoes. Hahaha... Check it out for yourself!

How many of you like bowling? I just came across this Youtube video of a guy named Jim Cripps, who is renowned as the best backward bowler in the world. Not only that but his score on average was 184 and his best score so far was 279.

My highest I got before was only 194 but this dude, he can score 279 backwards is totally outrageous.

Yeah, you heard me right, I said toothpaste. With the toothpaste, you can fix the scratches on the discs and get the shine back.

Here is how you can do it yourself to repair your scratches discs.

1. Apply some toothpaste on the surface.
2. Apply the toothpaste all over the scratches.
3. Wait for 5 minutes.
4. Rinse with water.
5. Dry it with a clean cloth.
6. You're done!
